Bio:
Rosemarijn de Bruin is a PhD candidate at the Accounting and Auditing department at the University of Groningen, with a background in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology (Msc.).
Using a combination of survey and archival research methods, she studies the fit between person and organization within audit firms in the Netherlands. She specifically researches what happens when management controls and employees’ individual characteristics interact, showing that management controls are not a one-size-fits-all.
