In this interactive edition of "Zahlen, Daten, Fritten," you will learn the fundamentals of data visualization and put them into practice immediately. Following a brief introduction covering the "dos and don'ts" of effective visualization, you will work in small groups using real-world datasets to create your own visualizations—choosing to work with either Excel, R, or Python.

Through hands-on exercises, you will explore common visualization techniques, discuss potential solutions, and gain an initial overview of three widely used tools for academic study and research.

This event is open to students from all disciplines; no prior knowledge is required.

Important: To participate in the Excel session, you must have Excel installed on your device in advance.

To facilitate planning, a short pre-event survey will be conducted to determine your preferred tool (Excel, R, or Python) and assess your prior experience.
